Job Overview:

The Special Education Paraprofessional assists in the educational and social development of students with disabilities. This role involves providing individualized support, implementing educational plans, and fostering an inclusive learning environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist teachers in implementing Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and support student learning.
• Provide one-on-one or small group support to students with special needs.

• Prepare and organize instructional materials and classroom resources.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent; some positions may require an associate degree or college coursework in education or a related field.
